A word of advice: Get thyself a pair of nude shoes (or light pink or tan or pale blush) before the inevitable (but fabulous) slew of parties, weddings, engagements starts up again.

Why, you ask? Well, for one, the neutral hue (and the heel itself, naturally) will elongate your legs. For two, the color–or lack thereof–goes with just about every dress and every occasion possible. For three, given the economy and all, the whole idea of such understated chic just feels so appropriate right now. (See above for proof.)
