Thread: The (Pop-Up) Shop.

A few years ago, things were a bit different here at Thread. For one, we had our own brick-and-mortar retail store, meaning we got to meet our excited brides and bridesmaids in person each and every day. Once we launched Thread Social in 2006, however, things ’round here got busy–really busy–and so we decided to close up shop (literally) and sell our dresses wholesale going forward. It was a tough decision, and we’ve missed those days of helping bridal parties find their perfect dresses ever since. And so, we’ve decided to reopen Thread: The Store, if only for one weekend. Yes, you heard read us correctly: From Friday, November 19 through Sunday, November 21, we will be opening the doors of our showroom to brides and their maids. Beth and Melissa (and Amy and Nicole) will all be on hand to offer advice on fit, style, length and anything else that might come up. We envision it to be precisely the sort of champagne-filled, girl-y affair that we’ve so been missing, and we are even offering a special that-weekend-only discount for our lovely bridal parties-to-be. The only catch might be the limited number of appointments we can take. You know what that means, gals: Book ASAP or forever hold your peace. Details below.

The Next Big Thing for bridesmaid dresses? Prints. Sure, we’ve all read the bridal magazines touting as much, but it’s not until you see a real bridal party rocking prints as beautifully as this one does that it becomes the truth.
