We love just about everything captured in this shot of bride (and Thread pal!) Keri’s Arizona wedding: the same-but-different navy bridesmaid dresses, the pop-y green groomsmen ties, the colorful bouquets that just perfectly tie it all together and -  most of all – the relaxed and happy smiles on the just-married couple. Aw.

If there is ever a time in life to spurge whilst traveling, it is surely during ye olde honeymoon, is it not? Only problem is that those splurges add up–and quickly. One word of advice, people? Nicole, for instance, booked four of the nine hotels she will be staying in over the course of her impending three-week honeymoon in Southeast Asia through Jetsetter, and not just any hotels, but some of the most legendary, most luxurious Thailand has to offer. …here’s a look at Jackie’s happy, summer-y wedding. Working with a bride like Jackie is the stuff dreams are made of — at least here at Thread. We had a hunch Jackie would approach things a bit differently, being in the fashion biz and all, and we were right. She knew she wanted something different, and she knew what that something different was. And best of all? She wasn’t afraid to take risks in terms of mixing colors, and styles, and textures. And, well, folks: We’ll let the photo speak for itself. Just gorgeous.

… we have decided to open up shop (literally) for another weekend of appointments. Our last weekend just filled up too quickly, and went by too quickly, so we figured we might as well make everyone happy. (We know, so good of us.) As always, email or call our sweet Amy for an appointment, and as always, discounts will be offered and champagne will be on hand. Two key elements, we know, in the bridesmaid dress shopping experience. Or, heck, any dress shopping experience.

We are obsessed with Swanson Vineyards‘ quirky wine bottles (and, of course, the deep, delicious, Napa-y wine in said bottles). Such a freakin’ cute bottle to serve at your wedding, no? Or to give as a wedding/ congratulations/ get well soon/ I love you/ anything, really gift? Best part is these little happy little bottles will only set you back $25 a pop. Happy, indeed!

The moment captured here–that moment when a bride steps into her dress, surrounded by her best friends, seconds away from marrying the love of her life–is (presumably) one of the most exciting and surreal moments of a gal’s life. And it’s certainly one of many perks that come with working at Thread, to get the opportunity to see this moment, captured on film, in so many of our brides’ lives when said brides oh-so-kindly send us photos from their Big Day. We never fail to get the chills, and, yes, perhaps a little teared up. (Side note: Wouldn’t a collection of these shots make an incredible coffee table book?)

We especially loved this sweet shot in particular. Everyone’s happy, and lending a hand, and you can just feel the excitement.

Anyone who has tried to navigate the world of bridal shower or bachelorette invitations knows this to be true: It’s a hot pink-and-black, martini glass-ed world of scariness out there. Few are the options for the anti-fuschia bride–until now. Nicole blessedly stumbled upon Minted.com when searching high and low for inexpensive but cute invites for her sister’s upcoming shower, and: Eureka! Such a thing does exist.
